Matt Eitner

Drawing on nearly two-decades’ experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity, Matt Eitner serves as the Chief Executive of Laidlaw & Company, an Investment Bank headquartered in New York City and the United Kingdom. Matt Eitner joined Laidlaw in 2010 and was named CEO in 2011.

At Laidlaw, Mr. Eitner has spearheaded the firm’s expansion of its healthcare and technology research verticals by investing in additional human capital and broadening the firm’s distribution network. Matt has also overseen the expansion of institutional and research capabilities at Laidlaw, and their geographical expansion to Boston and Boca Raton. In 2017, Laidlaw launched a boutique Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), called Laidlaw Asset Management to help service High Net Worth Clientele.

To keep up with advancements in the healthcare investment sector, Matt Eitner periodically attends industry events. In his free time he enjoys youth sports, entertaining family and friends, cooking, and visiting the seaside.
